The Research:
Survivors - Nationwide, 81% of women and 43% of men reported experiencing some form of sexual harassment and/or assault in their lifetime- National Sexual Violence Resource Center.
The Insight:
Most young adults learn about sex through abstinence focused sex-ed or pornography. Proper sex education is violence prevention in and of itself.
The Project:
Unlearning Sex is a 38 minute documentary that follows a survivors six month journey through sexual trauma therapy, recovery, and reclaiming her body.
